NFT-desserts from the rapper will be presented at the restaurant Bored & Hungry in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg has partnered with restaurant group Food Fighters Universe (FFU).
Calvin Broadus, known as Snoop Dogg, announced the start of sales of conceptual NFT desserts.
The rapper said he will join FFU as a full-fledged partner and present to the restaurant’s customers a “fascinating dessert retail experience” called Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration. The star of the scene is confident that the concept of sales created jointly with the restaurant Bored & Hungry will demonstrate to the world that NFT can be “more than a jpeg”. The funding generated from the sale of NFT dishes will go toward developing new concepts under the group’s auspices, including the opening of the Dr. Bombay & Dogg dessert store.
The partners plan to extend the cooperation to other FFU restaurants, where NFT owners will be eligible for benefits and rewards. NFT holders will even be allowed to pay for food with cryptocurrency.
Food Fighters Universe was launched in May in the U.S. and became the first company in the restaurant industry to support Web3 and NFT projects. In addition to promoting digital music and cooking shows, FFU will release 10,000 of its own NPTs to attract investment in the project.
In March 2021, Snoop Dogg released a set of eight songs in the form of an NFT titled “Journey with Dogg” as part of a collaboration with the platform Crypto.com.
