Representatives of the L1 IoTeX network announced the conclusion of a strategic partnership with the hackenProof (HP) crypto project, specializing in the search for blockchain vulnerabilities. The purpose of the partnership was to launch a program to search for network errors with the subsequent remuneration of attracted specialists (bug bounty program).

The HackenProof platform acts as an intermediary for the organization of bug bounty projects, helping crypto companies to use the resources of third-party experts-reporters. At the same time, HP acts as an auditor of the work performed by the involved specialists and a guarantor for secure payments to its own users.

According to a press release published by IoTeX, the integration of HackenProof activities will increase the level of both the global cybersecurity of the network and applications built on the blockchain under study (dApp). Found errors, according to official information, will be rewarded with amounts ranging from $ 50 to $ 15,000, depending on the level of complexity.

Representatives of the IoTeX security department named the leading categories for critically assessing the problem of business logic, manipulation of payments, remote code execution and vulnerabilities of implementation. The areas of study were stated the problems of compatibility of the blockchain and third-party assets, the structure, debugging of API contracts, as well as technical integration with gadgets.

HackenProof data showed that 22 technical experts have already started searching activities.

Earlier, with the assistance of crypto plaftorma, bug bounty programs were conducted by such large crypto companies as Avalanche, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, Simplex and Polkastarter.

Previously edited by Crypto.ru Reportedthat the creators of the decentralized funding protocol (DeFi) Fortress announced that the platform was attacked by cybercriminals. The damage amounted to $ 3 million.
