The Harmony ecosystem will get its own Web3-wallet with chat support, as well as access to DeFi and NFT
The Harmony blockchain based on the Proof-of-Stake algorithm will receive its own cryptocurrency wallet called Timeless 1Wallet. This is reported by analysts at DappRadar, citing the developers of the initiative.
So far, the product is in active development, and public beta testing for users with iOS-based devices is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of this year. Support for Anrdoid devices is also planned, but when exactly, is not disclosed.
Technical details remain unknown, but the developers still revealed some functionality. For example, at the start, the wallet will be able to support only the native Harmony token called ONE. As the project develops, developers will implement more tokens based on the Harmony blockchain.
Also, Timeless 1Wallet will allow customers to use the services of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFT). In addition, the wallet will receive an integrated chat, allowing TImeless 1Wallet owners to contact each other.
However, it remains unclear whether all this functionality will be available as part of beta testing.
The editors previously wrote that the American fintech broker Robinhood is also developing its wallet. With the help of new items, users will be able to exchange cryptocurrency “without network commissions.” However, how exactly the wallet intends to solve the issue of commission costs is unclear. Robinhood also promises to add support for non-fungible tokens (NFT) and the ability to receive passive income at the expense of placed assets.
