Developers in the Cardano network told about the launch of a new bridge between the desired network and Ethereum. The product is called Iagon Bridge, and the community has said it is another milestone on the road to success for Charles Hoskinson’s project. A beta version of the internetwork product has been launched.
The programmers assured that the technological solution created on the basis of Milkomeda and Nomad should contribute to the development of the Cardano ecosystem and attract new users.
Earlier, the founders of Iagon announced the migration from the ETH network at the end of April 2022. A decentralized platform for conducting cloud computing, announced the transition to Cardano and the transfer of 50% of IAG tokens in the amount of 500 million. then the startup team created a special bridge to enable the conversion of virtual assets ERC-20 IAG into digital CNT IAG, for interaction on different blockchains.
The founders of the product assured that in the future the possibility of supporting other virtual assets of the ERC20 standard will be considered.
Network users also stressed that they are still looking forward to the launch of the Cardano – Vasil hard fork. According to experts, this should draw more attention to the blockchain startup. At the moment, the launch of the test network is scheduled for early June 2022, and the deadline for offering a hard fork is on the 29th of the same month. The upcoming Vasil update will feature four different initiatives: CIP-31 (input data conversion), CIP-32 (embedded datums), CIP-33 (scripts) and CIP-40 (related output data).
Earlier, the editors of the Crypto.ru reported that analysts of the IntoTheBlock service recorded an increase in user interest in the Cardano network. They assured that the number of accounts that have positive ADA balances of less than 30 days increased dramatically by 186% in 1 month.
