The new OpenNode app will launch on the Stripe App Marketplace in the coming weeks.
Fintech firm Stripe, along with Bitcoin (BTC) payment infrastructure platform OpenNode, are joining forces to allow Stripe merchants to instantly convert all or part of incoming payments into bitcoins through the OpenNode app.
“The app gives businesses an easy and secure way to convert incoming payments into bitcoins in real time, automatically or on demand,” Josh Held, Head of Strategy at OpenNode, said Tuesday.
According to OpenNode, the new app will debut alongside the Stripe App Marketplace in a few weeks.
In February, OpenNode completed a $20 million Series A funding round led by British firm Kingsway, with an estimate of $220 million to spur its global expansion.
This is not the first example of the integration of OpenNode, with companies, to provide services for accepting payments. This is confirmed by the recent cooperation of Midwest Tungsten
