The authors of the third season of the animated series-anthology “Love. Death. Robots” hid several Easter eggs in the form of NFT
The third season of the animated series “Love. Death. Robots” contains several hidden QR codes for receiving a prize in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT). This writes HYPEBEAST with reference to Netflix.
Each QR allows the finder to generate an NFT that reflects the “unique and visual” creative narrative of each episode from the third season of Love. Death. Robots”. Those who find QR codes have the opportunity to either generate a find in the form of NFT, or save it in the traditional way.
At the time of writing, the community has only found three QR codes. Additional information on the initiative can be found on the thematic website, and the collection of tokens itself is already presented on the OpenSea marketplace, where the trading volume was 14 ETH.
The third season of “Love. Death. Robots” officially started on Friday, May 20. In addition to hiding QR codes in the episodes themselves, the show’s writers also hid Easter eggs on social media and physical billboards.
Earlier, the editors wrote that the publishing company Take-Two, known for the cult video games Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and Red Dead, may soon introduce NFT into its products. Under the new terms of the agreement between the company and its head Strauss Zelnick, the CEO’s bonuses are now directly tied to microtransactions and non-fungible tokens.
Also, the head of Take-Two stressed that the company wants to focus on the gaming experience with NFT, and not on speculation for the sake of money. However, when the GTA publisher can add support for non-fungible tokens, it remains unknown.
