The recent announcement of the non-fungible token (NFT) platform Autograph, led by famed American football player Tom Brady, announced the launch of a new Indy collection of 500 NFT on May 29, 2022. The collection of digital exhibits was created in partnership with the organizers of the leading series of races in North America IndyCar, as well as the management of the sports arena – the stadium Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The presented NFT, judging by the statement of the developers of Autograph, will be divided into 3 parts – Mystery Driver 2022 sets, as well as free NFT tickets of the day of the 106th race on the tracks of Indianapolis and a unique NFT three-dimensional version of the winning car of the 1972 race.
Memorable NFT tickets will be received by spectators who have paid for seats in the stands. Mystery driver sets include 33 virtual maps with images of racers, which will be marked by participation in the races of 2022. Lots of this part of the collection are planned to be presented 2 days before the sporting event.
Fans, as the message said, got the opportunity to purchase a unique virtual card, supplemented by a digital version of the hydrocarbon fiber of the race car involved in the upcoming tournament.
The final part will be a single NFT-copy of the three-dimensional detailed version of the McLaren M16A / B, on which Mark Donoghue, representing the Penske team, became the winners of the Indianapolis 500 race of 1972, 50 years ago.
Autograph co-founder Dillon Rosenblatt said:
“The creators managed to realize the dream and combine Web3 technologies and the legendary sports event IndyCar 500. In doing so, we were able to pay tribute to penske’s widely celebrated auto racing team.”
Earlier, the editors of the Crypto.ru reported a list of NFT collections, which noted the highest number of sales in the current year.
