French startup Sneakmart announced cooperation with the StockX platform. Within its framework, a collection of non-interchangeable tokens (NFT) in the form of sneakers of the Metakicks series will be released. They will appear in the Metaverse in 2022. With their help, users will be able to set up virtual avatars and receive a variety of rewards in the digital world.

Representatives of Sneakmart said that they will tokenize real sneakers on the blockchain. This will be a vivid example of the fusion of the digital and physical worlds, as well as increase the attractiveness of well-known brands.

Connoisseurs of fashion will be able to get possession of virtual Nike Air Jordan 1 and other popular models that have limited collections. According to the startup team, the sneaker market is estimated at more than $ 6 billion and has great prospects for development in the digital universe. NFT is meant to be a crucial element, allowing fashion trends to take on a virtual look.

The Sneakmart team generated 15 3D animated sneakers with a unique background and different shapes, textures, materials and colors. They will be sold in Metakicks’ NFT Boxes in four categories: Rare, Super-Rare, Epic and Legendary.

To do this, a partnership agreement was signed with StockX, which is the world’s leading streetwear marketplace. The organization became an official physical partner of Metakicks.

NFT owners will participate in the drawing of 625 pairs of real sneakers, including the latest models Jordan 1 High, Nike Dunk Low, Adidas Yeezy 350, Jordan 1 Dior, as well as 2 pairs of Jordan in collaboration with Travis Scott. The officials of the project were famous football players: Didier Drogba, Kingsley Coman and Marco Verratti.

Earlier, the editors of Crypto.ru reported: the premium brand Jimmy Choo told about the launch of its own NFT.
