The Hollywood star suffered from a hacker attack, during which attackers stole four NPTs from the collections of Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club and Doodles.
Seth Green is known for starring in the films “Robot Chicken”, “Italian Heist” and “Club Mania”. The actor wrote on Twitter that a few days ago he was the victim of phishing, as a result of which hackers managed to steal from him one “bored monkey”, two “mutant monkeys” and one unique token from the Doodles collection.
The hacker has already sold one NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) for $200,000 and one Mutant Ape Yacht Club token for $42,200. The total minimum value of the other two stolen NFTs is approximately $70,000.
Green calls himself a supporter of Web3 and non-fungible tokens. Recently, the actor in collaboration with the American magazine Heavy Metal released his own collection NFT PizzaBots. Green also worked with DJ and music producer Steve Aoki on the animated series about NFT.
Recently, owners of unique tokens have often been subjected to phishing attacks. In December, another user similarly lost 16 NFT worth $ 2.2 million, and recently the holders of tokens from the Rare Bears collection lost their funds by $ 800,000. In April, attackers were able to hack the account of the BAYC project on Instagram, posting information about the distribution of tokens, after which they managed to appropriate 91 NFT for $ 2.8 million.
