Developers from the TRON Foundation have announced the start of the second season of the TRON Grand Hackathon 2022. It began with a video broadcast and interviews of the winners of the first part, as well as the announcement of a $10 million incentive campaign for programming teams. This was done to support Terra developers.
Representatives of the organization said: they will also raffle off $1 million among young startups who plan to help develop the TRON ecosystem. The firm assured that the hackathon is designed to bring together the bright minds of the blockchain industry and help diverse teams make friends. Grants from the TRON Foundation will provide developers with additional funding for faster progress.
The event will be focused on helping people who are engaged in implementing decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, non-interchangeable tokens (NFT), blockchain games (GameFi) and Web 3.0 platforms.
Event organizers also paid special attention to recent developments in the crypto industry regarding Terra. TRON DAO announced a campaign to support Terra developers who want to migrate their applications to the TRON ecosystem. This includes those who wish to migrate to the EVM-compatible TRON BitTorrent Chain (BTTC) interconnect solution.
Startup co-creators will be provided with consulting and technical assistance to migrate to another network. This will allow promising Terra-based applications to continue their work and cope with the crash.
Earlier, Crypto.ru’s editorial board reported: a large holder of Tron cryptocurrency transferred a large amount of TRON from one wallet to another. At the time of the transaction it was equivalent to more than $6.11 million. Prior to that, the owner of this storage did not show active actions.
