According to analytics data from blockchain app rating agency DappRadar, the best-selling collections of non-interchangeable tokens (NFTs) recorded in the past week of May 11-17, 2022 are Azuki, Terraforms by Mathcastles, and Otherdeeds.
The Azuki collection came in first place with a 263.41% increase in sales. Trading volume was $76 million. Minimum value of the token is 13.5 ETH (approximately $28.3 thousand) as of May 17, 2022 16:00 Moscow time.
Despite continued demand, the downward trend in the value of cryptocurrency assets has also affected digital art sales. Amid the downturn, the minimum price of popular NFTs fell by 2-25% and the volume of trades decreased by 65% compared to last week’s figures. This observation, according to experts, indicates a decline in purchasing power.
In this regard, the remaining two lines of the leaderboard are occupied by collections that have reduced their sales numbers when compared to the figures of the last seven days.
The popularity of NFT Terraforms by Mathcastles, the second top spot, was also affected, according to analysts, by the Terra network’s overall negative news backdrop. The number of cryptocurrency sales fell 25.5%, but the minimum value increased to 0.345 ETH (approximately $72), up 65% from last week.
The NFT Otherdeed collection, which came in third place, is down 51.75%. The minimum price of the collection item remained the same at 3 ETH (about $6289).
Earlier, the editorial board of Crypto.ru reported that analysts forecast the growth of the market of non-transferable assets (NFT) in the next few years by 4.5 times.
