NBA legend Dwayne Wade and Budweiser Zero to release NFT collection

NBA and Miami Heat legend Dwayne Wade is teaming up with Budweiser to release the Budweiser Zero NFT collection. This initiative comes from the brand trying to build a fan base and create a great experience. The collection will be released on May 24 at 2 p.m. ET.

Since retiring for the 2018/2019 season, the 3-time NBA champion has been active in various business projects. He took on the business immediately, signing a lifetime contract with Li-Ning. He has also partnered with MISSION, Hisense, BallerTV, Stance, Budweiser, Mars Reel, Wade Cellars, 800° Woodfired Kitchen and D. Wade Burgers.

In 2020, Dwayne Wade co-founded Budweiser Zero,. Basically, it’s an alcohol- and sugar-free beer with a refreshing, full-bodied flavor that contains only 50 calories.

According to the owner of Utah Jazz, the partnership will leverage their unique capabilities and relationships to make a positive impact on the community. Along with Budweiser, Dwayne Wade will make a donation to create a grant program. This builds on his existing work with Social Change Fund United, which empowers communities of color and advocates for the rights of all black people.

Budweiser USA has been quite active in the NFT field for some time. Their many collections and collaborations are available on OpenSea. In addition, they recently released the Budverse roadmap to 2022. This roadmap has a lot of interesting details, and Duane Wade’s Budverse Legends, is right in the middle. The company didn’t explain the details of this roadmap, but they clearly have big plans for the NFT space.
