Initially, the extortionist promised the entrepreneur to settle her litigation for 25 million rubles. However, several months later, the problems were still not resolved, and threats to publish a video defaming her daughter were used.

The head of the capital construction company agreed to give the attacker the required amount, and she herself wrote a statement to the police. The blackmailer was detained and a criminal case was opened, the Ren-TV channel learned.

The daughter of a businesswoman, after the intervention of the security forces, confessed that she was renting things out for the sake of helping her lover.

Earlier, “Secret” wrote about extortion in one of the Moscow markets. Thief in law Andrei Torkunov, known in criminal circles by the nickname Turok, has been prosecuted for racketeering. According to the investigation, in March 2015, together with several other accomplices, he entered the businessman’s house and, threatening with reprisals, demanded 2.4 million rubles from him in three payments – 800,000 rubles each. In case of refusal, the authority promised to take away the victim’s apartment. The merchant eventually paid the required amount.

Earlier, investigators of the “elite” department of the FSB were sent to the colony for extortion of $ 1 million in bitcoins. Ex-siloviki Aleksey Kolbov and Sergei Belousov extorted money from the ex-head of Izvestia publishing house Erast Galumov. In November 2020, Galumov himself was convicted of fraud and sent to a colony for 6 years, TASS reported.
